You will be picked up by our driver at a designated point and will be driven to Oodi, where you will see Batswana women making an assortment of woven crafts. After which, you will proceed to Mochudi village via Pilane for a tour of the leatherworks to see products created using a unique Setswana touch.

A short descent into Mochudi village where you will be treated to a short tour of the Bakgatla Kgotla - which is the traditional gathering place for the local people. Further, on our way, we stop at Phuthadikobo Hill to see many interesting artifacts, as well as a fascinating collection of old photographs of Botswana and also learn more about the Bakgatha tribal history.

A picnic lunch enjoyed in a suitable spot will mark mid-day. Lunch is followed by a short drive to Rasesa - where you shall hear fascinating local tales about Maitsieng; a giant footprint that is embedded on the sedimentary rocks. After the visit to Mastieng Foot Prints, we return to Gaborone where you will be transferred back to your hotel. Package includes: Beverages, water, juice.

Our driver will pick up from your hotel and proceed to Thamaga Potteries to view the village women passing their time, making beautiful pottery using the mud they collect from the river. You will even have a chance to buy the curios. After that, we will proceed to Bahurutshe Cultural Village in Mmankgodi village, spending the whole day there learning about culture. A newly developed campsite allows weary travelers the option of staying over at Bahurutshe Cultural Village.

Upon arrival at the cultural village, you will be shown how traditional huts were once made, painted and decorated using natural earth colours. Visitors to the village are encouraged to participate in the smoothing of the mud floor using clay, mixed with cow dung and then later, participate in another common chore such as grinding maize in the mortar (Kika) to prepare maize meal for your traditional lunch.

While waiting for lunch you will be entertained by traditional dancers and songs. A mock wedding ceremony will be performed for you to see how Batswana conduct their traditional weddings. During this time you will have time to interact with villagers and listen to stories about the culture and tradition of the Bahurutshe tribe. You will also take a historical tour which will include visits to the Manyana to view bushman rock paintings. The tour is rounded off with a return trip back to Gaborone, where you will be returned to your hotel.

The tour commences with a drive to Mokolodi Private Game Reserve, from which you will return in time for a city tour that will include Government enclave, a statue of Sir Seretse Khama, Botswana`s first president, situated outside parliament building, proceeding from there to the House of Chiefs, SADC House , Bank of Botswana, Main Mall, Orapa House, Bus rank and then finally the train station.

Outside the parliament building, is a statue of Sir Seretse Khama, Botswana's president. Take a tour of the National Museum and Main Mall, where you shall have the opportunity to purchase a variety of carious and souvenirs, ranging from leather sandals and woven baskets to nicely carved wooden statues.

To fully experience and appreciate the ambience of Gaborone you will then take a tour through Old Naledi Township, one of the first settlements of the city.

You shall then go to the Gaborone Bus Rank, the true heart of the city. It is also the center of the public transport system. Experience the pulsating energy of the area. Then proceed to the three Dikgosi monuments and SADC House.

Madikwe Game Reserve offers 75000 hectares of prime Game Viewing including Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and Rhino. The Madikwe Game Reserve boasts the ‘Big Five’ in 65 000 hectares of a wide variety of habitat types – mountain plateaus, rocky ravines, varied Acacia Bushveld, open savanna grassland and riverine forest. Madikwe is a big 5 reserve in a malaria free area. Day 1 &2 | We depart from Maun in the morning for Njuca Hill by road, on the edge of Makgadikgadi Pans in the Kalahari Desert. The saltpans are among the largest in the world. The campsites are air-conditioned under shady trees on the banks of the Boteti River. Activities include game drives, concentrating on the opportunistic birthing time of desert animals.

Day 3&4 | Deception Valley, Central Kalahari Game Reserve Depart overland on our private adventurer campsite in the central Kalahari game reserve with lunch en route. This prehistoric riverbed is very appealing after brief rains, as it is covered with nutritious grasses that attract herds from all over the reserve. These large congregations of desert wildlife with their young are followed by predators into the broad riverbed, all of which makes for outstanding viewing. On day 4 and 5 we enjoy a full – day wildlife viewing activity (picnic lunch), taking in the game-rich PIPERS Pans area of the Kalahari.

Day 6 & 7 | Xigera Camp, Okavango Delta After a light breakfast we depart overland to Maun, flying by a light aircraft in the afternoon to Xigera within the Moremi Game Reserve. Xigera is the ultimate Delta experience, with serene waters flowing through innumerable channels around remote islands and a profusion of plant and animals life. Xigera is a luxury tented camp situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy a true Delta experience while you sit back in a mokoro (dugout canoe) and silently glide through the tranquil Okavango waterways.Xigera consists of 10 luxuriously furnished tented rooms with en-suite facilities. Birding in the area is excellent, with PELS Fishing Owl, Slaty Egret, Wattled Crane, African Skimmers and a host of eagles, vultures, raptors and king fisher’s to be found.

Day 8 | Charter flight to Maun After an early morning activity and breakfast, we fly to Maun, where the safari ends


Day 1 & 2 | Maun- Okavango Delta Light aircraft from Maun to camp in the Delta, 2 activities per day: game drive in open sided vehicles, power boat visits to the Heronries.

Day 3 & 4 | After breakfast, boat transfer to next camp in the Delta: 2 safaris activities per day: mokoro rides (traditional dugout canoe) game view by boat, game walks, bird watching and fishing (equipment provided) Overnight at the camp

Day 5 | Delta – Maun After breakfast, transfer by a light aircraft to Maun airport, where the tour ends.

The Gunn's/Okuti Package offers an exceptional value safari for those wishing to experience Botswana's prime game and delta areas – Moremi Game Reserve within the Okavango Delta. This special package offers the chance to discover the treasure trove of wildlife that is to be found in Moremi Game Reserve, from the perspective of Camp Okuti on game drives and boating and then across the other side of Chief's Island from Gunn's Camp on guided walks and mokoro trails through the winding waterways of the delta.

DAYS 1 & 2 : MAUN

Gunn's Camp On arrival in Maun you will be met by a Gunn's Camp representative and then transferred by light aircraft to Gunn's Camp on the south western edge of Chief's Island. After a 20 minute flight you will land on Ntswi Island and into the delta paradise of Gunn's Camp. Accommodation is in spacious east African style tents with private bathrooms under a thatched canopy. The main lodge area offers a swimming pool for your enjoyment in the heat of the day in addition to the raised dining and bar area. Your days adventures will be spent on mokoro (traditional dug-out canoes), guided walks. Subject to the seasonal water levels you may also enjoy a motorboat activity.

DAYS 3 & 4 | Camp Okuti

After breakfast it is time to discover another area of the Okavango Delta. You will take a short hop across Moremi Game Reserve to Camp Okuti The flight is approximately 15 minutes. At Camp Okuti you are accommodated in spacious chalets with private bathrooms and join together with the other camp guests in the main dining and lounge area for meals and relaxation whilst in camp. Days can be spent going out in open safari vehicles, by motorboat visiting the Xakanaxa Lagoon and beyond up to the seasonal heronry at Gadikwe. Moremi Game Reserve offers some of the most spectacular game viewing in Botswana.

Day 5 | Okuti - MAUN

After breakfast and, if time permits, an early morning activity, you will connect by light aircraft back to Maun. Day2 | Victoria Falls Enjoy a guided walking tour of Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. In the afternoon embark on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River

Day 3 | Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park Road transfer to Hwange National Park, a maximum of 2 hours drive south of Victoria Falls. Activities at the lodge include game drives and game walks.

Day 4 | Hwange National Park There are excellent opportunities to view game from open 4x4 vehicles during the morning and late afternoon, when game is most active. Walking safaris are also offered and are accompanied by a professional guide.

Day 5 | Hwange National Park to Johannesburg (via Vic Falls) Transfer from lodge to Victoria Falls airport for your return flight.

Day 1 & 2 | Savute Channel. Upon arrival at Maun you will be met by one of the representative and assisted onto your light aircraft transfer to your lodge where you will have twin-bedded thatched safari accommodation with en suite facilities. Activities include game drives in open vehicles.
